Game Components

How to Play

Setup

1. Assemble the tree gameboard and place it centrally for all players.
2. Each player selects a color and takes the corresponding monkeys and launcher.
3. Distribute four monkeys to each player.

Playing the Game

• Rounds: The game is played in rounds. At the start of each round, all players contribute one banana to the banana pile.
• Jumpin’ Monkeys!: The youngest player shouts “Jumpin’ Monkeys!” to kick off the round.
• Launch Your Monkeys: Players simultaneously place one monkey on their launcher, pull back, and release to launch their monkeys towards the tree.
• Scoring:
  • Monkeys that cling to the branches count as being in the tree.
  • Monkeys lying flat on the leaves must be removed.
  • If you knock off another player’s monkey while retrieving yours, it must be placed back as it was.
  • Monkeys that miss the tree or get knocked off must be launched again.
• Winning the Round: The first player to get all their monkeys in the tree (with no lying down) wins the round and collects all bananas from the pile. Monkeys are returned to their owners, and a new round begins.

End of Game

• After four rounds, players tally their bananas. The player with the most bananas wins!
• In case of a tie, the tied players compete in one final round to determine the winner.
