CUSTOMER QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Question: How much area will one tube cover? 
Answer: That depends on the damage you are fixing. If it’s just scuffed and worn then that will probably be enough. Rips and tears will take a lot more of the goop. Also if you are mixing tubes to get the color right then you’ll have more material to work with.

Question: Is the product after application color-fast? For example, after sitting on the color-applied fix, would the color transfer to white slacks?
Answer: Yes, if the color application dries properly, it is color-fast. The repair compound is not only paint, but it also contains leather filler and adhesive and dries to a leather-like finish. The repair holds very strong, often outlives the actual material.

Question: Could I use a heat tool once cured, to smooth out the top?
Answer: The repair might be greatly affected if it is exposed to extreme heat or extreme wet conditions as our product is not suitable for those kinds of environments. Normally, 90% rubbing alcohol removes any roughness and buffs the repaired spot. Please make sure the alcohol is not expired
